The DVD of the film adaptation of Claudia Allen's play Hannah Free, starring Emmy Award winner Sharon Gless, will be released on June 1.

The film, directed by Wendy Jo Carlton, stars Gless as a fiercely independent woman who fights to see her lesbian partner one last time in a nursing home. The cast also includes Maureen Gallagher, Taylor Miller, Kelli Strickland, Ann Hagemann, and Jacqui Jackson.

The DVD will come with bonus features including interviews with Gless, Allen, Carlton and the cast and crew, as well as a Behind the Scenes featurette and more.

Gless' stage credits include Cahoots, Watch on the Rhine, Misery, Chapter Two, and, most recently, Jane Prowse's A Round-Heeled Woman at San Francisco's Z Space. She is best known for her film and television work, which includes Cagney & Lacey, The Trials of Rosie O'Neill, House Calls, Switch, Queer as Folk, and Burn Notice.

Online pre-orders will be accepted for the release beginning April 20. For further information, visit:www.WolfeVideo.com.
