Briana Carlson-Goodman, Victoria Matlock, et al. Set for April Broadway Understudy Concerts

Musicals Tonight! has announced casting for its next installments of its concert series, At This Performance…, saluting Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies. Stephen DeAngelis will host, with musical direction by Eugene Gwozdz. The concerts will be held at the at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, on April 18 and 19 at 8pm.

The April 18 performance will feature Briana Carlson-Goodman (understudy for the roles of Sheila and Crissy in Hair), Donna English (standby for the roles of Maria and Julia in Lend Me a Tenor), Mary Illes (understudy for the role of Madame Giry in The Phantom of the Opera), Morgan James (understudy for the roles of Wednesday Addams and Alice Beineke in The Addams Family) , Mykal Kilgore (understudy for the role of Dione in Hair), Frank Mastrone (understudy for the roles of Monsieur Andre and Ubaldo Piangi in The Phantom of the Opera), Anastacia McClesky (understudy for the role of Dionne in Hair), Janelle Anne Robinson (understudy for the roles of Bird Woman, Miss Andrew, Miss Smythe and Queen Victoria in Mary Poppins) and Mamie Parris (understudy for the role of Mother in Ragtime).

Performers on April 19 will include Brad Bass (understudy for the role of Huey in Memphis), Natalie Bradshaw (understudy for the role of Jeanie in Hair), Antwayn Hopper (understudy for the role of Hud in Hair), Matthew Gumley (understudy for the role of Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family), Jared Mason (standby for the roles of Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet), Victoria Matlock (standby for the role of Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet), Marissa McGowan (understudy for the roles of Anne Egerman and Petra in A Little Night Music) N’Kenge (standby for female roles in Sondheim on Sondheim), and Adesola Osakalumi (understudy for the role of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in Fela!).
