Ann Sanders Returns to Avenue Q

Ann Sanders will assume the role of Christmas Eve in Avenue Q, playing at New World Stages, beginning on Monday, April 5. Sanders played the role for three years during the show’s Broadway run.
Avenue Q, with a book by Jeff Whitty and music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, has been directed by Jason Moore. It received three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The company also features Nicholas Kohn, Maggie Lakis, Seth Rettberg, Sarah Stiles, Cullen R. Titmas, and Danielle K. Thomas. The creative team includes Stephen Oremus (musical supervision), Ken Roberson (choreography), Anna Louizos (scenic design), Mirena Rada (costume design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), and Acme Sound Partners (sound design)
Sanders’ other credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, as well as productions of Miss Saigon, Show Boat, Carousel, Man of La Mancha, and The King and I.
