Chris Noth to Join Sex and the City 2 Film

Chris Noth will return to the role of Mr. Big in Warner Bros. and New Line’s feature film Sex and the City 2, the sequel to the popular Sex and the City film, according to published reports. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in May 2010.
The film will be written and directed by Michael Patrick King and star Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, all of whom appeared in the original HBO series and the first movie.
Noth appeared last year in the Atlantic Theatre Company’s production of Beau Willimon’s Farragut North and will appear in the Geffen Theatre’s upcoming production of the play. He is also known for his roles on the TV series Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
