Songwriters Bartley and Whitman are the duo behind the popular Broadway Backwards annual event. Their musical Dance With Me, was a 2007 NAMT finalist and in June will be included in The Festival of New American Musicals in Los Angeles. Whitman's children's musical Tales of Custard the Dragon is currently at The Algonquin Theatre in New York City, directed by Bartley.
