New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) and GoldDerby.com will sponsor a discussion entitled “Who Will Win A 2003 Tony Award…and Why?” at NYU on June 2.

The discussion will feature a panel of theater critics and writers including Elysa Gardner (USA Today), Michael Kuchwara (Associated Press), Michael Riedel (The New York Post), Patrick Pacheco (NY-1 and Show People magazine), Tom O’Neil (In Touch Weekly), and David Sheward (Backstage). It will be moderated by Michael Zam, the head of SCPS’s Writing Program. The panelists will discuss what motivates Tony voters and will handicap the nominees who may walk away with Tony Awards on June 8.

The event is open to the public. It will be held on Monday, June 2, from 7pm to 9pm at the NYU SCPS Midtown Center (11 West 42nd Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues), Room 1027. Tickets are $15 per person; to order, phone 212-998-7171 and mention reference code R03.9180. For additional information, phone 212-998-7145.
