Rufus Wainwright and Jorn Weisbrodt to Be Married in August

Singer and composer Rufus Wainwright will marry his longtime partner, theater producer Jorn Weisbrodt, in Montauk, Long Island on August 23, according to published reports.
Wainwright’s new opera, Prima Donna, was recently presented by New York City Opera at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He has also composed a musical adaptation of Shakespeare Sonnets with director Robert Wilson.
His new CD, Out of the Game will be released on May 1, and his previous albums include Poses, Release the Stars, Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall, and Songs For Lulu.
