Summer On the Hudson (SOH) has announced its lineup of free programming, to run May 2 - October 10 in Riverside Park South.

The performing arts offerings will include the Irish Arts Center's New York City Irish Dance Festival which will kick off the event on May 2. Other offerings will range from the 7th annual Mamapalooza (May 23), which features "mom bands" to the weekly Acoustic Sundays program, which offers jazz at sunset on Sundays July 11 - August 15.

Individual concerts that will be part of SOH include Liony Parra Y La Mega Mafia Tipico (July 11), Meta and the Cornerstones (July 18), Michael Powers Frequency (July 25), and Los Soneros de Oriente / Cuban Son (August 15). And, a children's performance series will include Buccanneer Bindlestiff's Swashbuckling Cirkus (July 22) and a presentation of Sleeping Beauty by the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater (August 12).

SOH will also offer free movies every Wednesday evening from July 7 - August 11. Among the films scheduled to be screened are Neverending Story, The Fall, and Big Fish.

The Festival will also offer fitness and sports activities, such as weekend kayaking, weekly yoga and pilates programs for adults, in addition to soccer and pee wee basketball for kids 5 and under.
