Awardees for the first annual awards will be soprano Jessye Norman; arts and education funder JPMorgan Chase Foundation; and The 52nd Street Project, which offers unique arts and theatre opportunities to at-risk youth.
Dinner, as well as a silent auction, will precede the presentations and performance. Also scheduled to appear are Carnegie Hall executive and artistic director Clive Gillinson, Arturo O'Farrill, and other luminaries to be announced at a later date.
