Len Cariou, Bebe Neuwirth to Announce Drama Desk Nominations

Len Cariou and Bebe Neuwirth will announce the nominations for the 53rd Annual Drama Desk Awards at 9:45am on Monday, April 28 at the New York Friars Club. The awards will take place at 9pm on Sunday, May 18, at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center.

The Drama Desk is an organization of theater critics, writers, and editors that honors excellence in all areas of New York theater, including Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway and not-for-profit theater.

Cariou’s many Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Applause, and The Dinner Party. Neuwirth’s many stage credits include the Broadway revivals of Chicago, Damn Yankees, and Sweet Charity. She will debut her new cabaret act later this year at Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency.
