Bogart, Champlin, Struthers, et al. Set for Pittsburgh CLO Season

The Pittsburgh CLO has announced preliminary casting for its 2007 summer season.

The first show will be Rodgers & Hammerstein’s beloved musical Oklahoma! (June 19-July 1), starring Matt Bogart as Curly and Jessica Grové as Laurey. It will be directed by Glenn Casale, with choreography by Mark Esposito.

Up next will be the Irving Berlin tuner White Christmas (July 3-15), starring George Dvorsky, Christina Saffran Ashfrord, Ian Knauer, and Danette Holden. The production will be directed by Charles Repole, with choreography by Michael Lichtefeld.

The season will continue with Richard Stafford’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats (July 24-29), with Ken Prymus recreating his Broadway role of Old Deuteronomy. It will be followed by Barry Ivan’s production of The Full Monty (July 31-August 5), with Guiding Light leading man Robert Newman as Harold, Donna Lynne Champlin as Georgie, and Sally Struthers as Jeanette.
