The program will feature scenes from Giuseppe Verdi's operas Otello (Act I), Macbeth ("The Witches' Chorus," "Lady Macbeth's Drinking Song," the Act I finale), and Falstaff (the "Honor Monologue," "Nanetta's Aria," and the Act III finale). Ivey, Easton, and Rees will read from the corresponding scenes in Shakespeare's plays. The performance will be preceded by a 7pm interview with renowned soprano Renata Scotto, whose Desdemona in Otello was one of her many famous roles.
