John Steinbeck fans around the world today are celebrating what would have been the iconic American author's 112th birthday. Broadway has special reason to celebrate this year, as Steinbeck's classic novella Of Mice and Men is only weeks from opening at the Longacre Theatre. The production features a star-studded cast led by James Franco, Chris O'Dowd, and Leighton Meester. Take a look at the Steinbeckian ways these Broadway stars, their director Anna D. Shapiro, and supporting cast members Jim Norton and Ron Cephas Jones have chosen to commemorate the day.
