Nice Work if You Can Get It features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis). Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes), the production opened on Broadway on Apr 24, 2012 and was nominated for Tony Awards in the Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical categories.
Tony and Emmy Award winner Blythe Danner (Follies) has also extended her run in the show through April 28. The production also stars two-time Tony Award winner Judy Kaye (Sweeney Todd), Brad Oscar (Spamalot), Jennifer Laura Thompson (Lend Me a Tenor), Chris Sullivan (Lombardi), Robyn Hurder (Grease), Stanley Wayne Mathis (Wonderful Town), and Terry Beaver (Born Yesterday).
