Complete casting has been announced for the Broadway to off-Broadway transfer of five-time Tony Award winner Peter and the Starcatcher. Rick Holmes and Kevin Del Aguila are among five original Broadway cast members moving with the production to New World Stages, where it begins performances March 18.

Holmes, Peter‘s Lord Astor on Broadway, drops his original role to take over as villain Black Stache. Del Aguila returns as crowd-favorite Smee, joined by fellow Broadway cast members Matt D’Amico as Slank, Evan Harrington as Alf, and Jason Ralph, who now stars Boy in the imagined prequel to the classic Peter Pan story.

Rounding out the off-Broadway cast are Nicole Lowrance (Dividing the Estate) as heroine Molly, Edward Baker-Duly (The Wizard of Oz, West End cast) as Lord Aster, Josh Grisetti (Rent) as Fighting Prawn, Alex Hernandez (Richard III) as Captain Scott, Nate Miller as Ted, Andrew Mueller as Prentiss, Jon Patrick Walker (Twelfth Night) as Mrs. Bumbrake, Jordan Geiger, Joanna Howard, and Graham Stevens.

The transfer to off-Broadway’s brings Peter and the Starcatcher back home, where it began its unlikely rise at New York Theatre Workshop. The play, brainchild of Tony Award nominated directors Alex Timbers and Roger Rees, and Tony Award nominated playwright Rick Ellis, took home five Tony Awards in 2012, including a Best Featured Actor trophy for original “Black Stache” Christian Borle, as well as an additional four statuettes for the show’s design team. An unprecedented sweep for a play, the wins for costume, scenic, lighting, and sound design honored the inventive heart of the production and its purposefully stripped-down approach to telling the swashbuckling story of lost boys and pirates.

The entire creative team of Peter and the Starcatcher, which includes Wayne Barker (Music), Steven Hoggett (Movement), Marco Paguia (Music Supervision), Donyale Werle (Scenic Design), Paloma Young (Costume Design), Jeff Croiter (Lighting Design) and Darron L West (Sound Design), reunites to mount the New World Stages production.
