Joshua Henry to Perform February 20 Concert at Triad

Tony nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Henry will perform Soul Weakness at The Triad on Monday, February 20 at 9:30pm.

The solo concert will explore Henry’s notion that “soul music” and music that touches the soul don’t always come from the same genre. From John Kander to Jill Scott, Neo Soul to Jazz, and a selection of original compositions, Henry will share an eclectic evening of his favorite tunes.

Henry is currently playing the role of Jake in the Broadway production of The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. He received a Tony nomination for his performance in The Scottsboro Boys, and a Drama Desk for being part of the ensemble cast of In the Heights.
