Joan Barber, Peter Gregus, Kirsten Wyatt, et al. Set for York Readings

The York Theatre Company has announced casting for two upcoming readings of new musicals, to be presented at the company’s home at the Theatre at Saint Peter’s.

Frank Basile, Ryan Boda, Vivienne Cleary, Gavin Esham, Christy Faber, David Garry, Danette Holden, Kristin Huffman, Michael Marcotte,Trevor Southworth, Jendi Tarde, Jason Williams and Kirsten Wyatt will be featured in Gods of Mischief, featuring book, music, and lyrics by Seymour Barab. In the show, two minor gods, bored and idling away on Mount Olympus, wager on the love lives of mortals. Frank Galgano will direct the reading, with music direction by Matt Castle on Thursday, February 10 at 3pm.

Kathleen Elizabeth Monteleone, Peter Gregus, Adam Shorsten, Joan Barber, Manoly Farrell, Jeremiah James, Shobhit Agarwal, Jeffrey W. Holmes and Ben Liebert will be featured in Socks, with book, music and lyrics by Sharon Barnett and Michael McFrederick. The show answers the age old question of “what happens to socks after they disappear from the dryer?” and will be directed by Heidi Ford on Tuesday, February 22, at 3pm.
