Tony Award nominee de'Adre Aziza and opera singer Tracie Luck will join previously announced star Jessye Norman and Hip-Hop group The Roots in Laura Karpman's multimedia concert work Ask Your Mama!, to be held at 8pm on Monday, March 16 at Carnegie Hall. The production will be directed by Annie Dorsen and feature George Manahan conducting the Orchestra of St. Luke's.

The work is based on poet Langston Hughes' 1961 cycle Ask Your Mama: 12 Moods for Jazz. It is part of the Honor! A Celebration of the African American Cultural Legacy festival, which is being curated by Norman in March.

The creative team for the production includes David Korins (scenic consultant), Rico Gatson (visual design), Kate Howard (video design), and Leslie Ann Jones (sound design).
