Billy Elliot Star Carole Shelley to Appear at Drama Book Shop

Tony Award winner Carole Shelley, who is currently co-starring in the hit Broadway musical Billy Elliot, will be interviewed by Tony Vellela at the Drama Book Shop (250 West 40th Street) at 5pm on Thursday, February 19.

A question-and-answer session with the audience will follow the interview, and Shelley will sign books from some of the Broadway productions she’s starred in.

Shelley’s many other Broadway credits include Wicked, The Elephant Man, Stepping Out, Absurd Person Singular, Cabaret, The Norman Conquests, and the original production of Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple.
