The current Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams' booze-infused Cat on a Hot Tin Roof celebrated its opening night on Thursday, January 18, with a swanky post-performance shindig at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Directed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford (Promises, Promises), the production began previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on December 18, where it runs through March 30.

In the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) stars as Brick Pollitt, an aging football-hero-turned-alcoholic. Brick and his beautiful wife Maggie, played by Tony Award winner Scarlett Johansson (A View from the Bridge), are preparing to celebrate the 65th birthday of Brick's father, Big Daddy, played by Ciarán Hinds (The Seafarer), who is the biggest cotton-planter in the Mississippi Delta. At the same time, the already fragile relationship between husband and wife unravels with the recollection of powerful memories and sudden revelations of life-altering secrets. Tony Award winner Debra Monk (Curtains) plays Brick's mother, Big Mama.

The cast also features Emily Bergl (Becky Shaw) as Mae, Michael Park (As the World Turns) as Gooper, Vin Knight (Gatz) as Reverend Tooker, and Brian Reddy (A Free Man of Color) as Doctor Baugh, as well as Tanya Birl, Will Cobbs, Lance Roberts, Cherene Snow, Laurel Griggs, Victoria Leigh, Charlotte Rose Masi, George Porteous, and Noah Unger.
