Blending the traditional eastern techniques of Noh with modern western dance, Buddha is an Oriental take on the Seven Deadly Sins that juxtaposes the biography of Siddhartha Buddha with the fever dream of a contemporary gay man.
Hiroshi Jin, best known for his cross-gender performances as Lady Macbeth and Salome, stars as Buddha. The cast includes Chako, Matsutaka Jin, Koichi Nakayama, Yoshifumi Seo, Sho Tohno, Koide Yuji and Yumi.
