Zaken's New York stage credits include Spring Awakening, Captain Louie, and Radiant Baby. In addition, she has appeared on such television series as Gossip Girl and Law & Order.

Directed by Buddy Crutchfield and featuring choreography by Gail Pennington Crutchfield, the show is based on the children's book by Julianne Moore and focuses on a young woman who has to learn to accept the freckles on her face, for which she is unmercifully teased by classmates.

The company also features Andrew Cristi, Julia Bray, Xavier Cano, Kimiko Glenn Linda Gabler and Mykal Kilgore.
