Pablo Schreiber, Catherine McCormack, Stacy Keach To Join FX’s Lights Out

Theater veterans Pablo Schreiber, Catherine McCormack and Stacy Keach will join Holt McCallany in FX’s upcoming drama series Lights Out, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show focuses on Patrick “Lights” Leary, played by McCallany, an aging former heavyweight boxing champion who struggles to support his wife, played by McCormack, and three daughters after his fighting days are over. Keach will play Leary’s father and former trainer, a widower who still runs a gym while Schreiber will play Leary’s brother and boxing manager.

Schreiber is a Tony Award nominee for Awake and Sing! and appeared on Broadway last season in Desire Under the Elms. He received a Drama Desk Award for his performance in the Off-Broadway production of reasons to be pretty. McCormack received an Olivier Award nomination for her work in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons. Other stage credits include performances in Lady From Dubuque and The 39 Steps. Keach most recently was seen on stage in Chicago and Washington, DC, starring in King Lear. The actor received a Tony Award nomination for Indians and last appeared on Broadway in The Kentucky Cycle. He is the winner of four Drama Desk and three Obie Awards for his New York stage work, which also includes Hamlet, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, and MacBird.
