New Production of Gina Gionfriddo’s U.S. Drag to Benefit Doctors Without Borders

Casting has been announced for Nunya Productions’ revival of Gina Gionfriddo’s U.S. Drag, to run January 27-31 at the American Theatre of Actors’ Sargent Theatre. Michole Biancosino will direct the production, which will raise funds for Doctors Without Borders.

Gionfriddo’s play tells the darkly comic story of two recent college grads on the hunt for love, money, and New York’s most elusive serial attacker.

The company will feature Katherine Horlitz (Allison), Mariya King (Angela), Matt Brown (James), David Carl (Ned), Michael Scott King (Evan), Reid Andres (Christopher), Laura King (Mary), and Nicole Stoica (Janice/ Store Manager/ Bartender/ Christen). Lighting designers Rome Brown and Michael Scott King will collaborate with Biancosino on scenic design, and the sound design will be by Amit Prakash.
