Metropolitan Opera’s Keith Jameson to Perform at Gershwin Hotel January 29

Metropolitan Opera tenor Keith Jameson is set to perform a program of cabaret songs at the Gershwin Hotel on Friday, January 29, at 8pm. Proceeds will benefit both operamission and the Greenwood Music Festival.

Jameson’s performance will feature songs by Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Sheldon Harnick, Kander & Ebb, Maltby & Shire, and more. Jennifer Peterson will join Jameson at the piano.

Currently appearing at the Metropolitan Opera in the role of Remendado in Carmen and the HD Broadcast Series “Live from the Met,” Jameson’s other New York credits include Bernstein’s Candide, Tobias in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd, Nanki-Poo in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado and many others.
