Melora Hardin to Release Solo CD All the Way to Mars in February

Melora Hardin, who made her Broadway debut in Chicago, will release her solo CD All the Way to Mars on February 9, according to a listing on Amazon.com.

On the 17-track disc, Hardin includes one song from the John Kander and Fred Ebb musical, “Roxie,” along with “Raise the Roof,” from Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables, Stephen Sondheim’s “Everbody Says Don’t” from Anyone Can Whistle, and the Burt Bachrach and Hal David classic “Close to You.” The disc also includes several songs written by Hardin herself.

The performer is perhaps best known for her role as Jan Levenson on NBC’s hit sitcom The Office. Her other stage credits include an appearance in the Hollywood Bowl’s concert staging of Les Miserables. On screen she has been seen in films such as Seventeen Again and Hannah Montana: The Movie.
