Kevin Spacey will join Daniel Wu in Dayyan Eng's black comedy Inseparable, according to a report in Variety. The movie, to be shot in Mandarin and English, will begin filming later in January.

Inseparable centers on a young man (Wu) with problems at home and work who is befriended by a mysterious American expatriate (Spacey). Beibi Gong also stars as the investigative-reporter wife of Wu's character.

Spacey recently concluded a run in the Old Vic's production of Inherit the Wind. He won the Tony Award as Best Featured Actor in a Play for Lost in Yonkers and received a Best Actor nomination for The Iceman Cometh. His other stage credits include Ghosts, Hurlyburly, Long Day's Journey Into Night, and A Moon for the Misbegotten.

Spacey won Oscars for his work in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects. His upcoming projects include Casino Jack, in which he plays disgraced Washington power broker Jack Abramoff, and the comedy Father of Invention.
