For this event, themed "Food and Romance," Tocqueville's Executive Chef and owner, Marco Moreira, will create an original three-course Valentine's Day lunch menu inspired by Sam Forman's world premiere play, Private Equity, and past Eating Their Words' favorites, Birth Day by Pulitzer-finalist Theresa Rebeck, and The Appetizer by Jonathan Marc Sherman. The cast will perform these plays between the courses they inspired.
Eating Their Words was launched in 2008, bringing together top playwrights and actors for a sophisticated reinvention of "dinner theater." Tickets for this Valentine's Day event are $195 for the three courses and performance, $245 with a wine pairing, and the $295 VIP package which includes premium seating with a playwright or actor, a tour of the kitchen, a signed souvenir program, and more. Tax and gratuity are included.
