Ugly Betty Star Tony Plana Set for Red Bull’s Electridad Reading

Casting has been announced for Red Bull Theater’s Revelation Readings series production of Luis Alfaro’s Electricidad, to run at 7pm on Monday, January 12 at the Theatre at St. Clements. Lisa Peterson will direct the reading, which updates Sophocles’ Electra to Los Angeles.

The show will feature Vanessa Aspillaga, Elisa Bocanegra, Bertila Dams, Judith Delgado, Alma Martnez, James Martinez, Tony Plana, Maria Elena Ramirez, and Socorro Santiago.

Red Bull’s reading series will continue with Peter Shaffer’s The Royal Hunt of the Sun (February 23), and Miguel de Cervantes’ The Siege of Numantia (March 2).
