Sebastian Arcelus, Malcolm Gets, Ann Harada, Megan Lawrence, and Sally Wilfert will participate in a benefit concert of William Finn’s Songs of Innocence and Experience, to be presented at Merkin Concert Hall on January 26 at 8 pm. Finn will narrate the evening.

Composed at Williams College, this piece contains lyrics and music by Finn in collaboration with his students. It tells the stories of teachers and students, exploring the process of how learning is passed on. Philip Himberg will direct the concert, with musical direction by Vadim Feichtner. The evening benefits Congregation Beth Simchat Torah, a New York City-based LGBT Synagogue for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
