Scott Bakula to Guest Star on NBC’s Chuck

Stage veteran Scott Bakula will guest star in at least three episodes of the NBC series Chuck, playing the father of the title character (portrayed by Zachary Levi), according to Entertainment Weekly.

Bakula will also star opposite Andre Braugher and Ray Romano in TNT’s new hour-long series Men of a Certain Age, which will air sometime in 2009. The show, which is co-created and co-produced by Romano, focuses on three forty-something college buddies coming to terms with the fact their lives have not lived up to their expectations.

Bakula’s stage credits include Romance/Romance, Shenandoah, and Dancing in the Dark. He is best known for starring in the TV series Quantum Leap.
