Tony Award winner Liza Minnelli will be honored at the amFAR New York Gala to be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, February 12 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Minnelli recently completed a month-long Broadway run of her show Liza's at the Palace. The show's CD will be released on February 3, and she will appear that evening in a special launch event at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle.

Minnelli won Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical for Flora the Red Menace and The Act, and won a special Tony Award in 1974. She was also nominated for The Rink and has starred on Broadway in Victor/Victoria and Chicago. She won the Academy Award for Cabaret and the Emmy Award for Liza With a "Z".
