Bill Irwin to Host On Tap at Joe’s Pub

Tony Award winner Bill Irwin will host On Tap, a salute to tap dancing, at 7pm on Tuesday, January 6 at Joe’s Pub.

The evening will include performances by Chloe Arnold, Brenda Bufalino, Ayodele Casel, Barbara Duffy & Company, C3 Tap Co-operative, Chikako Iwahori, Lisa La Touche, Carson Murphy, Claudia Rahardjanoto, Lynn Schwab, and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards.

Irwin won the Tony for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? His other Broadway credits include The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, and Fool Moon. He is set to co-star with Nathan Lane, John Goodman, and David Strathairn in the upcoming Broadway production of Waiting for Godot.

Other scheduled Joe’s Pub performers in January include Jackie Hoffman (January 5 and 12), Noche Flamenca (January 10), the Upright Cabaret (January 11), Gloria Deluxe (January 12), PAM ANN (January 15-19), Ellen Foley (January 21), Toshi Reagon (January 22-25), and Peter Cincotti (January 26).
