The Signature Theatre Company’s Paradise Park, the final production in the company’s Charles Mee season, has cancelled its first two previews due to technical problems. The show, to be directed by Daniel Fish, will now run February 14-April 6, with an opening set for March 2.

Paradise Park presents a collage-like journey through all of America, inviting the audience into an amusement park where they meet the inhabitants of this bizarre carnival of life, including a ventriloquist, his dummy, and a teenage girl on the run.

The cast will include Vanessa Aspillaga, Satya Bhabha, Veanne Cox, Gian-Murray Gianino, William Jackson Harper, Christopher McCann, Paul Mullins, Alan Semok, and Laurie Williams. It features choreography by Peter Pucci, music direction and arrangements by Bill Schimmel, scenic design by David Zinn, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Mark Barton, sound design by Elizabeth Rhodes, and video design by Joshua Thorson.

Mee’s other works in his Signature season included Queens Boulevard (the musical) and Iphigenia 2.0. Some of his other plays include Big Love, bobrauschenbergamerica, Trojan Women 2.0, and Wintertime. Fish’s prior Off-Broadway credits include Mee’s True Love, Ghosts, and The Woman Before.
