DeWitt, Fraser, Larsen, Lucci, Sullivan Set for Glimpses of the Moon

Joyce DeWitt, Alison Fraser, Liz Larsen, Susan Lucci, and KT Sullivan will be among the guest artists at Glimpses of the Moon, a new musical adaptation of Edith Wharton’s novel, to run at 8pm on Mondays, January 21-March 10, at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel. The production will be directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Denis Jones.

The show will feature a book and lyrics by Taljei Levis and music by John Mercurio. The cast will feature Patti Murin, Stephen Plunkett, Beth Glover, Daren Kelly, Laura Jordan, and Glenn Peters. The creative team includes Ted LeFevre (scenic consultant), Lisa Zinni (costumes), and Jim Milkey (design).

The show focuses on popular but penniless Suzy Branch who devises a scheme to marry her friend Nick Lansing and live off the wedding presents while they help find one another suitable millionaires. The plan works perfectly until they fall in love.

Larsen, who will guest on January 21, starred on Broadway in Hairspray and The Most Happy Fella. Sullivan, who will guest on January 28, starred on Broadway in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and is an award-winning cabaret singer. Lucci, who will guest on February 25, starred on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun and is best known for her Emmy Award-winning work as Erica Kane on ABC’s All My Children. DeWitt, who will guest on March 3, has appeared on stage in such shows as Sweet Charity and Damn Yankees and is best known for playing Janet on the hit sitcom Three’s Company. Fraser, who will guest on March 10, will return to Broadway in March in the revival of Gypsy.
