Hunter Foster is returning to the role of Leo Bloom in the Broadway production of The Producers, beginning tonight. He replaces Roger Bart, who rejoined the show on December 19. The production currently stars Tony Danza as Max Bialystock.

Foster's other Broadway credits include Little Shop of Horrors (for which he received Tony Award and Drama Desk nominations for Best Actor in a Musical), Urinetown, Footloose, and Grease. He first played the role of Leo in June 2004; this will be his fourth stint in the long-running show.

The Producers opened on Broadway in April 2001 and won a record-setting 12 Tony Awards. The show also stars Brad Musgrove as Carmen Ghia, Bill Nolte as Franz Liebkind, Lee Roy Reams as Roger DeBris, and Angie Schworer as Ulla.
