The play is set in 1934 in a remote vacation lodge in the woods of northern Wisconsin, where Dillinger, the famous gangster, is hiding out with his crew after a bank job. He has agreed to meet there with two men from Hollywood who are interested in making a movie based on his life. In addition to Kronenberg's work as a writer for stage and screen, his credits as an actor and director include The Exonerated, Sex, and Karla.
