Justin Blanchard, Bill Buell, James A. Stephens et al. Set for McCarter's Christmas Carol

Stage and screen star James A. Stephens will play Ebenezer Scrooge in the McCarter Theatre Center's 29th annual production David Thompson's adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, to run December 6-27. Michael Unger will direct.

The company will also feature Lisa Altomare (Mrs. Dilber), Justin Blanchard (Jacob Marley), Bill Buell (Mr. Fezziwig), David Furr (Bob Cratchit), Richard Gallagher (Young Scrooge), Karron Graves (Fan), Simon Kendall (Fred/The Undertaker), Angela Lin (Lily/Belle), Janet Metz (Mrs. Cratchit), Ronica Reddick (Christmas Present) and Michele Tauber (Mrs. Fezziwig) along with Brittany Beatty, Eric Carsia, Andrew Chappelle, Lauryn Ciardullo, Judah Gavra, Shanna Heverly, Alex Jorth, Will Porter, Trina Shumsonk, Louise Stewart, and George Tobey.

The children's ensemble is comprised of Lindsay Gloriana Bohon, Andrew Chamberlain, Hayden Clark, Mariel Edokwe, Alex Fasolo, Annika Goldman, Danny Hallowell, Emma Kilyk, Anna Kralik, Matthew Kuenne, Lauren Lynch, Asher Muldoon, Elsa Rodriguez, and Reed Christine Schmidt.

The creative team includes Rob Ashford (chorgeography), Michael Starobin (original music), Ming Cho Lee (scenic design), Jess Goldstein (costume design), Stephen Strawbridge (lighting design), and Brian Ronan (sound design).
