ReVision Theatre Announces Cast for Spring Awakening

ReVision Theatre has announced casting for the New Jersey regional premier of the musical Spring Awakening. Carlos Armesto will direct, with choreography by Elisabetta Spuria and musical direction by Michael Thomas Murray.

Spring Awakening is the rock musical adaptation of a controversial 1891 German play of the same title by Frank Wedekind. It features music by Duncan Sheik and a book and lyrics by Steven Sater. Set in late 19th century Germany, the play concerns teenagers who are discovering the inner and outer tumult of sexuality.

The cast will feature Billy Lewis, Elena Ricardo, Noah Zachary, Hannah Shankman, Teddy Toye, Renee Bang Allen, Spiro Galiatsatos, Spencer Kiely, Jonny Beauchamp, Travis Mitchell, Shira Elias, and Chelsea Zeno.

The creative team will include Steven Kemp (set design), Sarita Fellows (costume delsign), Jake DeGroot (lighting design), and Karoline Budna (sound design).
