Cavalia will now play the White Big Top at the Meadowlands through July 5. The piece, which debuted in 2003, has been created by Cirque du Soleil co-founder Normand Latourelle.

Cavalia involves acrobatics, live music, projected images and more than 100 performers, including a troupe of 60 horses, from all over the world. In addition to spectacle, the show offers theatergoers a glimpse at the evolution of horses and human’s interaction with them, from unbridled life in the wilderness, to early domestication, and ultimately to a relationship with human beings based on freedom and mutual respect.
