Dennis Stowe to Join Felicia Finley, Andrew Rannells, et al. in Paper Mill’s Smokey Joe’s Café

Dennis Stowe will join the cast of Paper Mill Play House production of Smokey Joe’s Café, to run April 7-May 2, with an opening on April 11. Mark S. Hoebee will direct. Stowe is replacing Devin Richards, who has left due to an injury.

The musical revue celebrates the songs of Leiber and Stoller, such as “Hound Dog”, “Stand by Me”, and “On Broadway.” The company also features, as previously reported Jackie Burns, E. Clayton Cornelius, Bernard Dotson, Felicia Finley, Carly Hughes, Andrew Rannells, Eric LaJuan Summers, and Maia Nkenge Wilson.

The creative team will include Denis Jones (choreographer), Jonathan Spencer (scenic designer), Brian Hemesath (costumes), Charlie Morrison (lighting), Randy Hansen (sound), and Tom Helm (musical director).
