Mixed Blood Theatre Announces Cast for Red Ink

Mixed Blood Theatre has announced casting for Red Ink, written by seven indigenous playwrights, to be presented April 23-May 10. Sarah Rasmussen will direct.

The piece is written as a series of short scenes that explore many aspects of the Native American experience, from casinos and native art to reality television shows. Playwrights include Diane Glancy, Tomson Highway, Yvette Nolan, Darren Renville, Arigon Starr, Russ Tall Chief, Drew Hayden Taylor and Rhiana Yazzie.

The show’s cast will feature Arigon Starr, Cochise Anderson, George Keller, Juanita Blackhawk, Ernest Briggs, Clementine Bordeaux, and Mixashawn.
