Linda Eder Named SpotLight Musical Theatre Program Spokesperson; Holiday Concert Set for Pantages Theatre December 21

Hennepin Theatre Trust has named Broadway veteran Linda Eder as spokesperson for the Trust’s SpotLight Musical Theatre Program, which celebrates students who excel in their high school musical and provides educational support to the schools who participate.
The actress will star in “Home for the Holidays,” a concert at the Pantages Theatre on Tuesday, December 21 at 7:30pm, backed by a choir of SpotLight students. Her activities will also include conducting a Trust master class with SpotLight students, serving as the guest host for a “surprise” SpotLight event in the IDS Center Crystal Court, and participating in next year’s SpotLight Showcase.
Eder received a Theatre World Award and Drama Desk nomination for her performance in Broadway’s Jekyll & Hyde. She has also appeared in numerous performance venues, nightclubs, and cabarets across the country, including New York City’s Town Hall and Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency.
