Winner of the Best Comedy award at the Palm Beach International Playwriting Competition, Twain and Shaw Do Lunch tells the story of the real-life meeting of two of the most prominent writers of the early 1900’s, Mark Twain and Bernard Shaw. After their monumental encounter, the role of keeping the two intellectuals from destroying one another falls on Mrs. Shaw.
These three historic characters are brought to life on stage by New Theatre veterans Stephen S. Neal, Bill Schwarz and Pilar Uribe.
The design team will include lighting designer Ricky J. Martinez, costume designer Chuck Roeder, sound designer Ozzie Quintana, and scenic designer Andrew Rodriguez-Triana.
