Kathy Griffin to Play Provincetown This Summer

The Emmy-winning comedian will come to Massachusetts.

Comedian Kathy Griffin will take the stage in Provincetown this summer, as part of the 2015 Broadway series at the Town Hall Auditorium. Griffin will perform on August 23.

An Emmy and Grammy winner and Broadway veteran, Griffin appeared on Broadway in a solo show called Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony. Her many television credits include Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Suddenly Susan, Glee, Ugly Betty, and Drop Dead Diva. She holds a Guinness World Records title for the most televised stand-up comedy specials ever by a male or female.

Additionally, Tony nominated playwright Charles Busch will play the Paramount Cabaret on August 31 and September 1, in A Divine Evening With Charles Busch, featuring Tom Judson at the piano. The actor, playwright, and drag icon is the author of such works as The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Psycho Beach Party, and many more.

The summer series also includes Barbara Cook, Jennifer Holliday, Shirley Jones, Jeremy Jordan, Linda Lavin, Bernadette Peters, and Billy Porter.
