Scott Rudin to Receive 2011 David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Motion Pictures

Broadway and Hollywood producer Scott Rudin has been named the 2011 recipient of the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Motion Pictures, according to published reports.

Among Rudin’s producing credits in film are this year’s hit The Social Network and No Country for Old Men, for which he won an Oscar.

He is the recipient of seven Tony Awards for producing Passion, Copenhagen, The Goat, Doubt, The History Boys, God of Carnage, and last season’s revival of Fences. He will be represented on Broadway in the spring by the new works, The Motherf*cker with the Hat and The Book of Mormon, as well as a planned revival of House of Blue Leaves.
