The LAByrinth Theater Company in New York and the Elephant Theatre Company in Los Angeles have announced a new bi-coastal partnership which will begin in November with two productions to run in repertory at the Lillian Theatre, November 5-December 19.

The Elephant will produce Stephen Adly Guirgis’ The Little Flower of East Orange, a work premiered by the LAByrinth. Directed by David Fofi, the play is an inter-generational ghost story set in The Bronx at a charity hospital.

The LAB’s production will be Carlo Alban’s solo show Intringulis, which focuses on the story of Alban’s family and their move from Ecuador to the United States and their subsequent economic, legal and social battles. The piece will be directed by David Anzuelo.

The partnership will also include ensemble members from both companies participating in writing workshops, play readings and master classes.
