Jim Carrey, Clark Gregg, Carla Gugino, et al. to Star in Mr. Popper’s Penguins Film

Additional casting has been announced for Mr. Popper’s Penguins, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Mark Waters will direct the film, which is being produced by 20th Century Fox.
In addition to previously announced stars Jim Carrey and Carla Gugino, the cast will include stage veteran Clark Gregg, David Krumholtz, and James Tupper.
An update of the 1938 children’s book by Richard and Florence Atwater, the film is about a New York businessman (Carrey) who inherits six penguins.
