Deborah Gibson, Micky Dolenz, and Tiffany Set for Syfy’s Mega Python vs. Gatoroid

Mickey Dolenz will join the previously announced Broadway veteran Deborah Gibson and her fellow 1980s pop star Tiffany in the Syfy Network’s original movie, Mega Python vs. Gatoroid, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mary Lambert will direct Naomi Selfman’s script, about a fanatical animal-rights activist (Gibson) who liberates exotic snakes from pet stores and sends them to the Everglades where they grow to enormous sizes. Tiffany will portray an overzealous park ranger trying to save endangered alligators.

Dolenz starred on Broadway in Aida, with other theater credits including Pippin at Goodspeed Opera House. He is best known for being a founding member of The Monkees.
