Los Angeles Production of God of Carnage Extends Until May 29
Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage will now play the Center Theatre Group’s Ahmanson Theatre, April 5 – May 29. Matthew Warchus, who won a Tony Award for his direction of the play on Broadway, will once again direct the piece.
Reza’s play, translated by Christopher Hampton, focuses on two married couples dealing with a schoolyard dispute between their sons.
As previously reported, the production will star Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden, all of whom will reprise their performances from Broadway. The entire company received Tony Award nominations for their work in the play and Harden won a Tony Award for her performance.
